- The Indian Aviation industry has moved from being a government-owned industry to being a privately owned full-service airline and low-cost carrier. Collaboration with international organizations and foreign direct investment are coming together to improve infrastructure and technology in Aviation Industry. Today people who cannot afford the high prices of Full-Service Carriers (FSC) can travel by Low-Cost Carriers (LCC) or budget airlines. The civil aviation industry in India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing industries in the country during the last three years. India has become the third-largest domestic aviation market in the world.
- Air travel has grown in the past decade. Travel grew strongly for both leisure and business purposes. The industry is seeing exponential growth in employment in recent times (post covid period).
- Infrastructure modernization, huge investment, expanding air fleet & with ever-growing economy AVIATION is the hottest sector in terms of career. UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) is a regional airport development and “Regional Connectivity Scheme” (RCS) of the Government of India, with the objective of “Let the common citizen of the country fly”, aimed at making air travel affordable and widespread, to boost inclusive national economic development, job growth and air transport infrastructure development of all regions and states of India. UDAN (‘Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik’) is a first-of-its-kind scheme globally to stimulate regional connectivity through a market-based mechanism.
