Eligibility : Three or Five years LL.B Degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade [45% for SC/ST Candidates]. Candidates who have appeared for the final year LL.B examination may also apply.
The Master of Laws program offered by the School of Law is a study meticulously designed to provide a deeper insight into the study of law and enable students with all necessary skills and knowledge for pursuing a successful career. Students can choose to specialize in Corporate Law or Constitutional Law.

Prof Kedar Naik is a research scholar, writer, political analyst, and academician. He has majored in political science and international relations and is pursuing his doctoral research in environmental politics. He has broad experience of teaching a variety of students from diverse academic backgrounds and has tutored and mentored many successful Civil services aspirants in Delhi and Pune. His passion for teaching took him to Kashmir, where he taught Politics and Environment. He is also a visiting faculty at the Maharashtra Intelligence Academy which trains state intelligence officers.
He is a keen writer and keeps contributing to leading dailies and magazines. He can also be found on News channel panels where he offers his political insights. Philosophy, political theory, world politics, history, ecology, and physics are some of the fields which he finds close to his heart.
Ms. Shubhi Srivastava has completed her B.A.LLB and LLM from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed To be University, Pune. She has completed her Diploma in Cyber Laws from Asian School of Cyber Law. She is NET qualified. She is having 1 years of academic experience. She has also worked in the Corporate Sector i.e. Cognizant Solutions as senior legal coordinator. Ms.Aditi Prasad holds B.A.L.L.B from Symbiosis School of Law, Symbiosis International University (Pune), India and L.L.M. Commercial & Corporate laws from Centre for Commercial law Studies, Queen Mary, University of London, (London) United Kingdom Ms. Prasad completed her L.L.M. Dissertation on the issue of Witness Hostility, which she completed under the supervision of Barrister David Ormerod, Law Commissioner for Criminal Law and Evidence, Law
Her penchant for international business laws and commercial arbitration inspired her to pursue CPGM General Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi after which she appeared for XAT and XU-RET and enrolled herself to complete PhD in Management from Xavier Business School, SXUK Kolkata (XAMI Institute).
She has about 6 years of experience working both in industry and academia. She has participated and presented papers at national and international conferences.

Mrs. Ashwini Wani is an Assistant professor (Training and Placement officer) at the School of Law, ADYPU Pune. She has total 13 years of experience in the social sector and 6 years of experience in Training and Placement. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work. She identifies, acquires, and assesses candidates for hiring within a company. She is wing to support Institute to enhance employability skills in students, which helps them get a job. She helps graduates in the processes of job searching, including resume writing. Interview and referral of participants to job placement and business development resources as a result of skills development training sessions.
Mrs. Sangeeta Verma has 12 years of diverse work experience in legal field. She has practiced in Mumbai High Court and also worked in the Corporate Sector. Out of her total work experience, she has been in academics for last 6 years.
She has done her B. Com, LLM (Business Law) from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara-Gujarat. She is NET and SET Qualified.
Mrs. Verma is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from ADYPU. She has also done her DHRM in Human Resource Management from Welingkar’s Institute, Mumbai. She has completed with Grade “A” UN Certification course on “RIO+25: UN Water Action Decade International Short Term Course” organized by United Nations, 2020. Blend of her diverse experience helps her in excelling in academics. Mrs. Sangeeta has few publications in UGC Care Lists and have attended various National and International Conferences, Workshops and Webinars.
She keeps herself abreast with teaching techniques by attending various Faculty Development Programs and Workshops from time to time. She has been invited by Royal Global University (Guwahati) and Amikus Qriae to judge National Moot Court Competitions. She has also been invited as a Guest Speaker by D Y Patil College Law College, Pimpri, Pune.
Dr. Kumar S Sheelwant completed M.A in Economics from Gulbarga University Gulbarga, Karnataka. He earned his Ph.D. at Gulbarga University Gulbarga, Karnataka. He has also published 03 peer-reviewed research articles in reputed journals and presented papers National and International Conferences.
He has a core interest in the Urban economy, various government policies and programmes for urban development and GDP growth from urban areas. His doctoral studies were focused on the “Socio-economic conditions of Slum Dwellers: With reference to Gulbarga ( Karnataka ) and Solapur ( Maharashtra ) cities in India ”. During Ph.D. (2015 – 2017), he received a Doctoral Fellowship from, Indian Council for Social Science Research in New Delhi. Later, he joined as an Assistant Professor in Economics at Sri Sathya Sai Centre for Human Excellence and KLE’S Societies Jagadaguru Ganagdar College of Commerce Hubballi.
Dr. Sameena Mir has completed her Ph.D. in Sociology of Education comprising Women’s Education from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth- Pune in 2019. She hold a Master degree in General Sociology incorporated Indian Sociology and Sociological Thoughts from University of Pune in 2012.
Dr Sameena has eight years of teaching experience. She teaches subjects such Sociological Thoughts, Social Research Methods and Criminal Sociology & Criminal Psychology in recent years.
She has attended several Seminars and Conferences at national and international levels.
Dr. Ramratan V. Dhumal holds MPhil and PhD degree from the Centre for the Study of Law and Governance, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He joined the School of Law, ADYPU in 2022. Previously he worked at University of Delhi, Amity Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and Symbiosis Law School Pune.
His area of interest includes public law, comparative constitutional law and Law Policy studies. In his six years of teaching experience, he has received research grants and fellowships from University Grant Commission India, National University Singapore and Young Constitutional Law Fellowship from South Korea in 2018 and 2020. Recently, he received Global South Fellowship from University of Johannesburg. His research papers are indexed in SCOPUS and UGC listed journals
Dr. Shaista Peerzada is currently serving as Associate Professor at School of Law, Ajeenkya D Y Patil University, Pune. Dr. Peerzada has been in academics for past six years over the course of which, she has taught Intellectual Property laws, Science, Innovation and Technology, Comparative Constitution, Professional Ethics, to the students of both the Post-Graduate and Graduate degrees in Law.
Dr. Peerzada completed her PhD. in Intellectual Property and Information Technology, from Shri Venkateshwara University, and holds an LL.M degree with specialization in Innovation, Technology and Intellectual Property Laws from Symbiosis International University. In past, she has had the privilege of attending WIPO SUMMER SCHOOL at FRANKLIN PIERCE IP CENTER at the University of New Hampshire, USA.
During the course of her academic tenure, she has presented research papers on varied topics including but not limited to ‘Innovation in Business & IPR’s, Services Tax and IPR’s’.
Her erudition had been causal to her being invited as a speaker at various faculty development programs. She has served as a Researcher & Teacher at the WIPO-WTO Colloquium for Intellectual Property Teachers and Researchers in Asia, organized by WIPO and WTO in cooperation with Singapore Management University, School of Law, at Singapore.
Dr. Nagesh Sawant is an Associate Professor at the School of Law, ADYPU Pune. Prior to joining ADYPU, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Symbiosis Law School, Pune for nine years. He has a total teaching experience of more than 11 years.
His areas of teaching include Administrative Law, Labour Laws, Human Rights, and Research Methodology. He completed his LL.M. in 2009 and Ph.D. in 2020 from the Department of Law, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune (India). He is the author of several research articles published in international and national journals. He has been invited as a resource person and a panel member by different institutions.
Advocate Mohite holds over 32 years of rich experience from the Industry and Academics.
Prof. Mohite also happens to be a registered Advocate and has a wide experience of practicing at District and Sessions Court, Satara.
In addition, he has been associated as a resource person with Maharashtra Legal Services Authority, Mumbai, and Bombay High Court.
He is an avid speaker and has delivered 1200 lectures on various social subjects.
Prof. Dr. Ram Niwas Sharma is a renowned advocate and distinguished faculty with an illustrious experience of nearly 21 years.
Dr. Ram Niwas Sharma’s professional tenure spans across rich academic and corporate roles both domestic and cross border.
Dr. Sharma has been associated with leading law firms in India including Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe, wherein he practiced as a solicitor and advocate specializing in maritime laws and international trade law.
Apart from a lofty career in the practice of law Dr. Ram Niwas Sharma has also served as an academician in several universities of national repute including Galgotias University, Institute of Marine Engineering College, Ganpat University, Nirma University to name a few.
Presently Dr. Sharma is heading the School of Law at ADYPU and has been associated with the same since 2019.
Till the date Dr. Sharma has authored numerous articles that have been published in esteemed national and international journals.
Dr. Sharma’s perspicacity and in-depth cognizance upon intricacies of law has been pivotal abaft calls for being a resource person at some most esteemed podiums like The Regional Teacher Training Programme on International Humanitarian Law,” conducted by Gujarat National Law University, High Court Legal Services Committee on Legal Aid and Literacy Awareness, Workshop on Alternative Dispute Resolution” conducted by American Center Mumbai, International Maritime Summit in Mumbai from organized by Director General of shipping and Ministry of shipping to name a few.
Dr. Sharma also has to his credit a Minor Research Project: “The Comparative Study of Legal System in SAARC with reference to the Law and Practice of International Law and Conflict of law”. University of Mumbai, June 2008.
